Help Me Get Smart!

Hey my name is Lee! So the fall season is fast approaching with only one month of summer to go! I realized I don't have a car but I did do well in high school resulting in a full scholarship.I will be going to ITT Tech. However I live about 30 minutes drive away from campus. I know everyone suggests I take public transportation...One problem with that. I live so far out of the way no public transportation comes way out to the back woods of Shepherdsville. I don't know maybe they did at one time and had a bad experince with the cattle farm right next door to me...but no buses come out here. Oh and I will definitly go into debt if I take a taxi. No one out here that I know of or can find go to ITT so nix car pooling.But never to fear the car I plan to get hopefuly WITH YOUR HELP will get 41 miles per gallon. Yes I want a econo car AKA a hybrid. The Mercedes Smart FORTWO priced at $12,000! Thats a lot of dough I know but all I need to do is get half of that. about $6,500. The rest is ready and going to be paid for. So my humble plea for all you who read this is help me go to college. By helping me get a car to get me to the campus it's self you can rest easy knowing you helped someone get start on a good path forward with knowledge in hand. I will be posting this blog else where on a site for it's self with a handy paypal donate button tomorrow.The account will be set aside and not touched until my goal or rather our goal is achevied. Thank you all for taking the time to read this.I just put forth $50 of my own money towards this cause. I am on disability by the way and am unable to work sadly or else I would not even think of asking for a helping hand.

smart car

July 12th 2008
So to keep hopes and morality up the other day I went to the flea market and bought a wicked awesome custom painted vanity plate. I have hung it on my wall to keep my spirits on this venture up and keep me motivated towards my goal.I described what I wanted and it was fairly cheap.I walked away to get some greasy heart burn inducing confection from the food court. By the time I came back they had started on my order. After it was spray painted I was given instructions for proper care for it. I said good bye and he handed it over saying happy trailing in the FOXBOX man.

July 19th
So yesterday I created a video expressing why I need a car so bad....It ended with me being hit with a car! I am putting it through the editing process tomorrow as soon as I find a decent editing program. In other news I'm going to the smart center of Louisville today! Check out the features and get a better understanding of what i'm purchasing. Although I know it will only make me want one more. Hopefully the next time I go there I will be driving one off the lot so to speak...although there is a waiting list as they are custom made in either Germany or France.I will definitely bring along the camera to take film or pics to post on here as a update. Oh by the way I talked to this guy named Travis at smart center he seemed pretty cool. I can't wait to meet him hopefully today. He really seems to know his stuff! ^_^








August 3rd

So I haven't updated the blog in a while because I have been uber busy trying to invest in things to raise the money needed to get the smart car. Like I have been doing art commissions and animation commissions. Just usual work. I will be attending a convention in Memphis Tennessee selling merchandise to help out. I get to keep a quarter of the proceeds toward my goal. The other are going into expenses and my websites and to my friend Kira who designed the products.Also I joined a community of smart car owners and enthusiasts.
